主讲人简介:
Dr.ZuankaiWang is current1y an associate professor in the Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering at the City University of Hong Kong. He was awarded the Changjiang ChairProfessorbyMinistry of Education ofChina in 2016. He earned his Ph. D. degree in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Nuclear Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2008. Dr. Wanghas received many awardsinc]uding the 2017 0utstanding Research AwardandPresident「s Awardat the City University of Hong Kong (2017, 2016), 0utstanding Youth Awardconferred by the Internationa]Society ofBionicEngineering (2016),0SAYoung ScientistAward(2016), Chinese Government 0utstanding Self Financed Students Abroad Award (2007),“and Materials Research Society (MRS) Graduate Student Silver Award (2007 Fall Meeting, Boston).
Over the past four years, his research group has publishedseven papers in Science and Science/Nature Sister journals.The PHD students he supervisedhave won a number of prestigious awards inc1uding Young 1000 Talent Pl1an (2017, two PHD graduates), MRS Graduate Student GoldAward (2016 Fall Meeting,on1y tWo Winners from China),Hiwin Doctoral Dissertation Award (2016),Hong Kong Young Scientist Award (2015), and MRS Graduate Student Silver Award (2015 Spring Meeting, on1y two Winners from China).
